The poet's words, long forgotten, now seem more prescient than ever as we watch our nation languish in the hands of weak and cowardly men. It is becoming increasingly apparent that the strength, wisdom, and courage long cherished by earlier generations is fast disappearing, and that we as ourselves are being disfigured in the process. Our families, communities, and country need us at our best. Something has to change. We have to change.
